Before the first match
- Claim available playtime rewards in the lobby. CHALLS narrates cash and crates among the rewards; check your own currently displayed rewards.
- Open Quests and inspect daily and weekly objectives. Pick an objective you can complete while learning the mode.
- Check your loadout for an affordable attacker. Read its role instead of choosing only by rarity.
- Enter a Normal match to establish a working opening before increasing difficulty. This is our cautious starting recommendation, not an optimal-speed claim.
The opening mistake to avoid
In the walkthrough, the creator initially places a money-generating unit and waits while enemies damage the base. The run only starts working after damage-dealing units are placed.
If enemies walk through untouched, pause your spending plan. Select the unit and check whether it attacks, whether the path is in range and whether you have placed enough actual defense. Adding another economy unit does not solve missing damage.
A simple loop for the next few matches
- Establish an opening that clears the first enemies.
- Watch where leaks happen before spending everything on more units.
- Add or upgrade damage where the current defense fails. Keep an economy purchase conditional on surviving the next wave.
- After the match, collect available rewards and inspect crafting before selling duplicates.
- At 10 wins, try the reported codes through Shop → Codes.
Watch the worked example
CHALLS’s September 9 walkthrough shows a failed economy-first opening and a retry. The guide here uses the narrated lesson; unit names and precise costs that require clearer frame verification are not asserted.
